Started racing in 1995/6 in the Castle Combe Saloon Car Championship in a VW Polo G40. Then took a break until 1995, returning with a SEAT Leon Cupra, a Megane R26, a BMW 130i, and a Nissan 200SX S14A. 2014 switched to GT racing, sharing with my son, Charlie Bird, in the Castle Combe GT Championship, CSCC Slicks Series, AMOC GTs, Porsche Club Open Cup, and Dutch Porsche Open Series, initially in BMW M3 GT4, then a Vantage GT4 and a 991.1 GT3 Cup Car. 2022 Castle Combe GT Champion. 2024/5 Mk1 Lotus Cortina for CCSC Swinging 60's sharing with my son Charlie Bird.
